NEW DELHI; Calling upon electorate to exercise their franchise with utmost sincerity and turn up in large numbers to cast their votes beating the scorching heat on 25th of May, Praveen Khandelwal, BJP candidate from Chandni Chowk constituency, said that the active participation of people in the 'festival of democracy' will not only strengthen the country, but help it tread on the path of prosperity streadfastly.
During his Jan Sampark Abhiyan on Sunday, Khandelwal visited several places in the constituency meeting people, members of several Residential Welfare Associations ( RWAs) and listened to their grivances. He assured them of all possible help to mitigate their problems whatsover after voted to power.
Divulging the blueprint for a 200-bed multi speciality hospital to come up at Keshavpuram in his first 100 days in office, Khandelwal said, "I will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and give him the proposal after a complete home work. I am pretty sure that this proposal would definitely see the light of the day and the dream of a come-of-age hospital would become a reality."
For the public good, Khandelwal has a sui generis 'Nelson' formulae of 1-1-1. He said, "Nelson is a tern generally used in Cricket for the score of 111. It also stands for 'One eye, One hand, and One aim". Likewise, we have a 1-1-1 plan for the development of Chandni Chowk and betterment of the people. First, we have to strengthen our organisation at every level. Second, we should have a representation in thhe Delhi Assembly also. And third, we must win the Lok Sabha polls with a thumping majority. Ours is the sole purpose to make the life of a common man easier."
"We want to make our Chandni Chowk a model Lok Sabha constituency. Simultaneously, we are also committed to strengthen RWAs. We are willing to develop them as a Jan Samvad Kendra as well, " he added.
Riding high on the popular slogan "Abki baar, 400 paar", Khandelwal was very optimistic that he will not only win, but also set a record of margin of votes. During the day, he visited Shalimar Bagh, Model Town, Kalyan Vihar, Gurmandi, Gujranwala Town et al. The response he recieved was undoubtedly overwhelming.
