Uttarakhand, India - The Global Trade and Technology Council India (GTTCI) in collaboration with the esteemed Sarvha Foundation proudly organized a transformative Global Spiritual Retreat from the 13th to the 15th of May 2023 in the serene and sacred city of Rishikesh, located in the majestic state of Uttarakhand.

This exceptional event attracted prominent figures from across the globe, including esteemed Ambassadors and Diplomats from seven countries, who eagerly participated in the retreat to embark on a profound journey of spiritual exploration and personal growth.

The distinguished attendees of the retreat included His Excellency Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma, Ambassador of Nepal; His Excellency Mr. Arunkoemar Hardien, Ambassador of Suriname; Mr. Ziad Koussa, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Lebanon; Ms. Nita Pokhrel, Minister at the Embassy of Nepal; Mr. Fakhri Aliyev, First Secretary at the Embassy of Azerbaijan; Ms. Seham O L Elamami, Third Secretary at the Embassy of Libya; and Mr. Kapil Malhotra, Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Canada.

Under the guidance of the renowned Spiritual Guru Acharya Anita, the founder of Sarvha Foundation, the retreat commenced with a thought-provoking spiritual discourse and a deeply transformative meditation session. Acharya Anita, a dedicated spiritual teacher and philanthropist, firmly believes in the power of meditation to awaken the physical, mental, and divine faculties of individuals, irrespective of their personal belief systems. Her profound teachings inspire individuals to lead positive and enlightened lives.

To honor the presence of the distinguished diplomats and guests, a felicitation ceremony was conducted by Acharya Anita and Dr. Gaurav Gupta, the Founder President of GTTCI. This special occasion celebrated the shared commitment to spiritual growth and global harmony.

Acharya Anita's spiritual journey began during her time as a student at Gurukul Kangri, where she delved deeply into Vedic Sciences and Indian Philosophy. Today, she harnesses her vast knowledge and creative expertise to empower individuals to explore their spirituality and unlock their inner selves.

Throughout the retreat, the delegates indulged in immersive meditation sessions, enabling them to forge a profound connection with their inner selves and to gain a profound understanding of the true essence of spirituality in the sacred land of Rishikesh, known as the "Land of God" in Uttarakhand.

The following day commenced with an invigorating morning yoga session, complemented by a sacred Vedic Havana Ceremony, designed to purify the mind, body, and soul of the participants.

Moreover, the delegates were treated to the awe-inspiring Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan, a spiritual ritual of offering prayers to the holy Ganges River. They also had the privilege of visiting the revered Beatles Ashram and the esteemed Patanjali Yogpeeth, further immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage of India.

The delegates unanimously expressed their profound gratitude for the spiritual and rejuvenating experiences they encountered throughout the retreat.
