Recently a relatively low profile marriage alliance took place in New Delhi, where a very high ranking official of the PMO and extremely close to the Prime minister relative, nephew to be precise got married to the daughter of a high ranking SP party official, who is very close to SP Supremo and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. Yes SP national Spokesperson and former minister in Akhilesh Yadav government in 2012, Naved Siddiqui daughter got married to nephew of Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor, in New Delhi recently.
While on one side there is BJP 2.0 (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh, on the other hand Samajwadi Party is in opposition.
Speaking to the editor in Lucknow, Naved Siddiqui replying to a question about his future plans as whether he will be seen now in BJP, replied that he is more comfortable in SP now. Having served SP for so many years also as a minister , it will be a very tight rope journey for the charismatic national spokesman of SP. To a question that sources say that you will be the New muslim face of BJP, Naved Siddiqui replied that he has no intentions of deserting SP. Further on being questioned about his newly made relationship with a very high official of PMO, Thru this marriage alliance, will his influence increase in PMO??. Naved Siddiqui retorted negatively. It was interesting to ask him whether he discussed Phulwama with NSA Doval, Naved smiled. "Kuch toh majbooriya rahi hungi, yuhi koi bewafa nhi hota" Naved Siddiqui further added that Phulwama incident should have been discussed at hightest level and in media thru debates and discussions . However it was not done so.
He said this sends a wrong message to the nation. National security precautions should have been taken, of highest order, in order to avoid such unfortunate incidents and loss of Indian army officers. As alleged by Satyapal Malik.
Replying to a question, Naved Siddiqui said that both parties belongs to different ideologies but marriage is a personal matter. People in Lucknow would recall that Naved Siddiqui started his CAREER as AIR and DD announcer and rose to become a famous and popular RJ , and then as National spokesperson of SP, who was very instrumental in getting Akhilesh Yadav win 2012 elections and become the Chief Minister.
