Aligarh: All Ladies League, Aligarh Chapter, organised ALL Changemaker Convocation 2022, powered by Al-Madaar Herbs, it rejoiced the spirit of sisterhood by celebrating Shakti Bandhan, on the occasion of International Sisterhood Month.
Shakti Bandhan is an event celebrated across the globe to strengthen the bond of togetherness between soul sisters by ALL. The 4th annual celebration was hosted in Lemon Tree Hotel and was graced by Dr. Prerna Kohli, Eminent Psychologist and Presidential Awardee and eminent personalities as Guest of Honor Mr Farhat Ali Khan - OSD Jamia Urdu, Prof. Ayesha Farooq - Dept. Of Business Administration, AMU, Dr. Faiza Abbasi, Director UGC HRD Centre (AMU), Ms. Razia Khan - Social Worker and ex-candidate MLA/Mayor, Adv. Nupur Dhamija (Supreme Court), Prof. Syed Abu Nidal - CEO, Al Madaar Herbs, Aligarh, Mr. Irfan Raham Ali -owner of EESBEE Builders and Mr. Nadeem Raja - President, Zakir Hussain Foundation.
The event celebrated the spirit of sisterhood with a panel discussion on "Violence against Women and it's impact on mental health" which was moderated by Ms Shahwar Shohrat, Chairperson ALL Aligarh, the host of the event. The panelists spoke on the importance of women's mental health and giving them the ability for them to express themselves freely. IPS Deepak Kumar Ji emphasized the importance of freedom of expression and building trust in legal framework.
A keynote was delivered by Dr. Prerna Kohli on Women Mental Health and was well received. The ladies tied a band of friendship 'Shakti Bandhan' to each other to forge a bond of togetherness and bringing the event, successfully MCed by Ms. Sajida Nadeem - the vice-chairperson of ALL Aligarh and supported by Ms. Shirin Tabassum, core team member, ALL Aligarh. The Book 'Rising Beyond The Ceiling' documenting the inspirational journey of 100 influential women of Uttar Pradesh.
The event also honored Ms Shahana Zaidi (Bhopal) and Ms Soafia Javed (Aligarh) as Pillars of Strength for demonstrating exemplary strength in overcoming social and personal challenges.
ALL Changemaker Convocation 2022 was supported by India Talent Treasure Trust, Women Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Luxe Story, Zakir Husain Foundation, WAOW Foundation anf was organised by the core team of All Ladies League core team members Ms Adeeb Aijaz, who was given the “Torch Bearer Award” to acknowledge her contribution towards the organisation. Change Leader Award was given to all core team members for their efforts towards contribution in their respective roles, this was given to Ms. Talat Javed, Ms. Sajida Nadeem, Ms. Shagufta Abidi, Ms. Ruhi Saxena, and Ms. Syyada Faheem.
