Another successful season of punjabi beauty pageant Sunakhi Punjaban Season-4
It is a beauty pageant based in Delhi which highlights the talent of Punjabi women. The age limit to participate in this show was between 18-30. Also it was mandatory for the participants to be able to read, write and speak Punjabi.
Sunakhi Punjaban Season 4 competition was organised in the auditorium of Bhartiya Vidya Peeth Institute of Computer Application and Management. This cultural beauty contest was organised by Dr Avneet Kaur Bhatia as a venture to fulfil her mother Mrs Davinder Kaur's dream. As she wanted to promote Punjabi language, lifestyle and Punjabi culture, today of course she is not among us but her blessings are always with us.

S.Jarnail Singh from Virasat films was the Chief Guest who attended the show along with other well-known artists, models, police officer and political people.
The show began with a shabad seeking blessings of Almighty and then Punjabi girls beautified the stage by wearing Phulkari, 20 girls reached here with their beauty and talent, in which we got to see Punjabi folk dance and all the stupendous Punjabi talent rounds. Each and every participant contributed whole heartedly and performed to the best of their abilities.
Eminent Jury members Ashley Kaur, Navpreet Gill, Inderjeet Kaur, Misha Sarowal, Jeet Matharu and S. Prakash Singh Gill judged the participants. Girls dressed in Punjabi attire were questioned by the judges about Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat. The answers to the questions were also excellent where Gurjeet Kaur could make it to 1st rank, Arshpreet Kaur secured 2nd position and Harshdeep Kaur stood 3rd.
Position holders were awarded with cash prizes and a chance to be brand ambassadors for different brands. They were also awarded with Golden Suggi Phul (It is a traditional ornament worn on the forehead of a Punjabi girl) along with the sponsored trips as well as a chance to act in a film. Along with special walks in other shows. The show concluded with the zeal it began, finally giving gift hampers and vouchers to the audience and participants.
