World Habitat Day Commemorated at Shri Dharmic Leela Committee & GTTCI

The Global Trade & Technology Council of India (GTTCI), in collaboration with Shri Dharmic Leela Committee, commemorated World Habitat Day at the historic Red Fort Grounds, Delhi. The event, centered around the theme of "Resilient Urban Economies", was attended by esteemed diplomats and dignitaries. This remarkable evening celebrated global awareness and India's cultural heritage, with a special focus on the 101-year-old Ramleela of Lord Rama.
The event witnessed the participation of prominent dignitaries, including H.E. Mr. H. Dillum, High Commissioner of Mauritius; H.E. Mr. K.L. Ganju, Consul General of the Union of Comoros; Ms. Mary Jane from the High Commission of Kenya; and Mr. Khurshidbek Samiev from the Embassy of Uzbekistan. Each of the distinguished guests expressed their gratitude and admiration for the incredible efforts made by the Shri Dharmic Leela Committee in preserving the rich cultural traditions of India.
In his address, H.E. Mr. Dillum praised the event, stating his awe at the preservation of such a significant cultural heritage. The Ramleela of Lord Rama, performed against the backdrop of Delhi's iconic Red Fort, beautifully showcased India's enduring customs. This confluence of global awareness through World Habitat Day and the timeless tradition of the Ramleela provided a platform for thought-provoking discussions and captivating performances.
GTTCI took the opportunity to honor key individuals for their contributions. Shri Subhash Goyal, Chairman of the Shri Dharmic Leela Committee, was recognized for his leadership and dedication. Dr. Gaurav Gupta, President of GTTCI, honored the esteemed dignitaries with mementos in appreciation of their support and participation.
Speaking at the event, Shri Dhiraj Dhar Gupta, General Secretary of the Shri Dharmic Leela Committee, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the ambassadors and diplomats for their presence and patronage, reaffirming the committee's commitment to continuing its work with the same zeal and enthusiasm. Secretary Pradeep Sharan welcomed the guests, honoring the excellencies with a Patka, while Atul Gupta, and Vice President Vinay Sharma were honoured for their relentless contributions to the cause.
This event not only celebrated India's cultural heritage but also fostered deeper connections with the international community, highlighting the importance of unity in diversity. The evening concluded with a traditional performance of Ramleela, followed by dinner, leaving the attendees with a profound sense of cultural pride and global unity.
