THE MOST PIOUS OF THE UMMAH

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala states in the Holy Qur'an:
"And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger will be in the company of those blessed by Allah; the prophets, the people of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous - what honorable company!" (Surah An-Nisa, Verse 69).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) related that the Holy Prophet ﷺ said: "The Khiyar (choicest) of my umma in every generation are 500 and the Abdal are 40. The amount of 500 will not decrease nor will the 40 (at any one time). Every time a man dies from the 500, Allah substitutes another in his place, and the same as regards to entering another in the place of the 40.
They said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell us about their deeds?" He ﷺ said: "They pardon those who oppress them, and do good to those who wrong them, and keep ties with those whom Allah instructed to keep ties with."
