PCCF S.K. Gupta Unfurls Tricolour, Receives Guard of Honour on 79th Independence Day

Srinagar, Aug 15: Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force), Shri S.K. Gupta, was accorded a Guard of Honour on his arrival at the Sheikh Bagh Forest Head Office, Lal Chowk, Srinagar, as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations.

Shri Gupta unfurled the National Flag and led the ceremonial proceedings, which were attended by senior officers and staff of the Jammu & Kashmir Forest Department.

Recognised as a symbol of dedication and integrity, Shri Gupta has earned wide respect for his outstanding service, leadership, and commitment to environmental conservation. Under his guidance, the department continues to work towards protecting and preserving the forest wealth of the Union Territory.

The occasion was marked by patriotic fervour and a renewed pledge by the department to serve the nation through sustainable forest management.
