Lions Club Delhi Veg (Distt. 321-A1), in collaboration with Sahayak Business Club, successfully organised a grand event to honour teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day at the prestigious Aiwan-E-Ghalib Auditorium, Mata Sundri Lane, ITO, New Delhi.
The event commenced with tea and a formal inauguration at 9:00 AM, setting a warm and vibrant tone for the day. This was followed by an AI Workshop from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM conducted by Mr. Anurag Dangi, an AI Expert, which provided attendees with valuable insights into the future of artificial intelligence in education and business.
At noon, a special Sahayak Meet was held to encourage networking and collaboration among members, entrepreneurs, and educators.
The highlight of the day was the Teachers’ Awards Ceremony at 1:00 PM, where distinguished educators from leading Universities, Colleges, and Schools from Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, and Faridabad – including Technia Institute, GL Bajaj, Amity University, Nehru Adarsh Primary School, DPS, and many more – were honoured for their exceptional contributions to education. The ceremony was followed by a networking lunch.
A captivating dance performance by Poonam Troup – Mudras added a cultural vibrance to the celebration, leaving the audience spellbound.
Prominent members of Lions Club Delhi Veg – Lion Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Lion Navratan Aggarwal, Lion Sanjay Agarwal, Lion Kapil Khandelwal, Lion Mukesh Pandey, and Lion Mukul Garg – graced the occasion with their presence and felicitated the awardees. The event also featured an inspiring motivational address by Mr. Amit Maheshwari, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
The programme was also joined by Mr. Sanjay Khetan and co-organisers Mr. Jatin Arora and Ms. Neha Thukral, founders of Sahayak Business Club, whose efforts ensured the event’s success.
This celebration was a heartfelt tribute to teachers, recognising their pivotal role in shaping society and inspiring the next generation.
