The grand finale of Sunakhi Punjaban Season-7 powered by Rosa herbal care , a premier platform celebrating Punjabi language, culture, and heritage, was spectacularly held on 21st September 2025 at Shri Guru Gobind Singh College, Pitampura, Delhi University. Sponsored by Roza Herbal Care, the event brought together the finest young Punjabi talents, showcasing a large number of performances ranging from folk songs and Bhangra to theatre, comedy and many more. This annual cultural extravaganza not only highlights artistic prowess but also fosters pride in Punjabi heritage, providing young women an opportunity to shine and make their mark. Contestants also demonstrated their linguistic and cultural knowledge by writing in Gurmukhi script and answering heritage-related questions, proving that talent and wisdom walk hand in hand on this prestigious stage.

The winners of the competition was Kirandeep Kaur from Delhi , first runner-up was a tie between Bharati Aujla from Jalandhar and Durga Malhotra from Delhi & second runner-up was again a tie between Khushi from Patiala & Samikhya Kaur from Delhi.
The evening commenced with a soulful Kirtan performance by the Ruhani Sangeet Group, followed by an energetic showcase from the college’s Bhangra team. Special cultural presentations were offered by Ms. Simneet Kaur and Ms. Arleen Kaur, celebrating the richness and vibrancy of Punjabi traditions.
The program was graced by renowned Punjabi actor and owner of Virasat Films, Jarnail Singh, as the chief guest. The event also saw distinguished personalities including entrepreneur Sunita Singh, pulmonologist Dr. Harish Bhatia, motivational speaker Mr. Sandeep Kaur, and Mr. Rao Charan Singh, CEO of Roza Herbal Care, in attendance as special guests. The judging panel featured prominent figures from the Punjabi film and social media industry, including actress Ms. Navpreet Gill, Ms. Meesha Sarowal, influencer Ms. Jeet Matharu, Ms. Puneet Kochar, Bhangra Queen Ms. Ashley Kaur, entrepreneur Mr. Aman Kunwar, and Mr. Deepinder Singh Narang.
The competition is spearheaded by Dr. Avneet Kaur Bhatia, who has passionately organized Sunakhi Punjaban for the past seven years to fulfill her late mother’s dream of preserving and promoting Punjabi heritage. Speaking at the event, Dr. Avneet remarked, “Sunakhi Punjaban is not merely a celebration of beauty; it is a tribute to our language, culture, and heritage. Here, young women are empowered with confidence, knowledge, and skills to carve their identity and leave an indelible mark.”
Participants hailed from across India, including Jalandhar, Pathankot, Nabha, Barnala, Faridkot, Amritsar, Gwalior, and Kanpur. Each contestant received special gifts, while the winners were honored with trophies, gold-plated Saggi flowers, travel opportunities, and chances to act in Punjabi short films, ensuring that talent is both recognized and nurtured.
