JK-Kathua, Sept. 8 (ITN): A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) head constable died on Saturday after suddenly collapsing at a college in the Maroli area of Lakhanpur in Kathua district, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Sikar, Rajasthan. According to officials, Kumar fell unconscious on the college premises and was immediately rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua in critical condition.
Doctors at the facility declared him dead on arrival.
Local police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated legal proceedings to ascertain the exact cause of death
