Health Department Asked to Expedite Formal Order; Notification Likely Tomorrow
Srinagar, Oct 20th (ITN) : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has sanctioned a steep hike in the monthly stipend of MBBS and BDS interns in Jammu and Kashmir, enhancing it from Rs 12,300 to Rs 25,000, sources said.
The Chief Minister has cleared the proposal for the long-awaited revision and directed the Health and Medical Education Department to issue the requisite order forthwith.
The formal notification is expected tomorrow, paving the way for enhanced remuneration for medical and dental interns across the Union Territory.
