Ladakh, Nov 4 (ITN): Two Army personnel lost their lives after a military vehicle skidded off National Highway-01 and plunged into a deep gorge near Namika La Pass in Ladakh.
The deceased, who were travelling as driver and co-driver, reportedly died on the spot. Police launched a rescue operation and retrieved their bodies, which were later shifted to CHC Chiktan for medico-legal formalities.
Police Station Wakha has registered a case under relevant provisions of the BNS and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident.
