Eid-ul-Azha Celebrated with Religious Fervour and Communal Harmony in Bhaderwah. ADC Bhaderwah Extends Warm Greetings to People on Eid-ul-Azha.

Bhaderwah, 6 June: Eid-ul-Azha, the festival symbolizing sacrifice and compassion, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious zeal by the Muslim community in Bhaderwah valley, echoing the joyous spirit seen across the globe.

From the early hours of the morning, people in traditional attire were seen moving towards the historic Eidgah in peaceful processions from various localities. A large number of devotees gathered to offer the special Eid prayers (Nimaz-e-Eid), reaffirming their faith and expressing gratitude.

Addressing the congregation at the Eidgah, Reyaz Ahmed Najar, President of Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah, extended heartfelt Eid greetings to all. Highlighting the growing number of worshippers over the years, Najar announced the proposed extension of the Eidgah to better accommodate future gatherings. He appealed to the community to contribute and cooperate in this noble endeavour, which the Anjuman plans to initiate soon. Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah and CEO, Bhaderwah Development Authority, Sunil K. Bhutyal (JKAS), extended warm Eid greetings to the residents of Sub Division Bhaderwah. In a thoughtful and inclusive message, Bhutyal urged citizens to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, sharing, and harmony.

“Eid is not just about rituals—it is a reminder of our shared humanity, compassion for the underprivileged, and our duty to build a more inclusive society,” the ADC said.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining communal harmony, simplicity in celebration, and adherence to public safety and hygiene norms. Bhutyal encouraged citizens to continue working hand-in-hand with the administration to ensure peaceful and joyous celebrations.
