JK-Srinagar, OCT 22 (ITN): J&K Apni Party Women Wing President Dilshad Shaheen has condemned the death of a 42-year-old woman following a petrol attack in Udhampur, demanding swift justice and strict punishment for the accused under law.
Describing the incident as deeply disturbing, Shaheen said the tragedy highlights the urgent need to strengthen women’s safety and ensure accountability for crimes against them.
While acknowledging the arrest of the accused, she called for a thorough investigation, time-bound prosecution and strict legal action, stressing that the victim’s family must not be left waiting for justice.
She urged authorities to ensure that the case reaches its logical conclusion and that violence against women is never normalised.
