Principal L.K. Dubey Credits Uzma Begum’s Dedicated Efforts Behind the School’s Outstanding Achievement

New Delhi: Rajkiya Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya (RSBV), West Vinod Nagar has brought laurels to Delhi’s government education system after 7 of the 21 students selected from Delhi for the prestigious APAL Germany Apprenticeship Programme 2026 were found to be from the school, according to the selection list shared with ISMA TIMES. The APAL initiative prepares Indian students for vocational education and apprenticeship opportunities in Germany, where selected candidates undergo industry-based training for approximately 3 to 3.5 years.

During an interaction with ISMA TIMES, Principal L.K. Dubey said the achievement was the result of the relentless hard work and commitment of Ms. Uzma Begum (Uzma Madam), who guided the students throughout the selection process. He said the success reflects the growing confidence and capability of students studying in Delhi government schools.

“This is a proud moment for our school. Our students have proved that with proper guidance, dedication and determination, government school students can compete at the international level. I sincerely appreciate the hard work of Uzma Madam, whose continuous efforts played a key role in this achievement,” Principal Dubey said.

According to the school administration, the selected candidates will travel to Germany for vocational apprenticeship training with leading German companies. The programme will run for around 3 to 3.5 years, during which the students are expected to receive a monthly stipend of approximately ₹3.5 lakh, besides gaining international work experience and globally recognised technical skills. The APAL Programme offers students an opportunity to work with reputed German industries while receiving structured vocational education. Similar APAL initiatives have enabled Delhi government school students to pursue apprenticeship training in Germany in recent years.

Principal Dubey said the success would encourage more students from government schools to pursue skill-based education and global career opportunities. Teachers and parents also congratulated the selected students, describing the achievement as a milestone for the school.
