JK, Oct 28 (ITN):-The Jammu and Kashmir Government has distributed portfolios among eight ministers, assigning Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary four departments, including Public Works (R&B).
As per the order issued by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Ali Mohammad Sagar will handle Revenue, Power Development, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, among other departments. Sakina Masood Itoo has been given Health and Medical Education and Social Welfare, while Javed Ahmad Rana will oversee Food and Civil Supplies, Tribal Affairs and Transport.
Other ministers have been assigned departments related to Agriculture, Finance, Education, Jal Shakti, Forests, Environment, Rural Development, Sports and Planning. Departments not allocated to any minister will remain with the Chief Minister, the order states.
